Malvan | Suyog Pandit : The district Sindhudurga has a legacy of intellectual students and aspirants. The town Malvan itself has a tradition of budding youth in almost every field. Now a BSC forestry aspiring student Ms. Manasi Dichwalkar has added to this list. Ms. Manasi has been selected for a month’s international training at Western ‘Sydney University..!’ She is going to represent India for this agricultural training program.
Ms. Manasi is currently studying forestry ( BSC ) at Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Kokan Agricultural University ,Dapoli. She participates in every agricultural and college driven activity. ‘Indian Agricultural Research Council’ has recognized her acceptional academic and overall performance in college and given her this rare opportunity to represent India on the highest level. This training includes agriculture, environment and tourism development features. Ms. Manasi will have opportunity to visit three national sanctuaries in Australia.
Ms. Manasi has a middle class background and hardship. Her parents always supported her for her growth in academics. Today she has not only made proud to her parents but also for whole district Sindhudurga and town Malvan.
