Malvan | Nazira Shaikh : Malvan based Rosary English school celebrated the National Science Day. School celebrated this day on the theme ‘Science is the boon in the progress of modern society.’

The moto of this celebration was to create awareness amongst students about the benefits of science to mankind and also to develop rational thinking and scientific temper in this generation.

The day witnessed science exhibition and a presentation on bio- universe by alumini Miss Megal D’Souza.

The chief guest for this event was former science teacher Mr. Vinayak Kolambakar. Principal Fr. Alwyn Gonsalves welcomed Mr.Kolambkar.
In the beginning of this programme the lamp was lit and the homage was paid towards Dr.C.V.Raman and his achievements in science .

The students exhibited and provided information on scientific replicas to justify this day. The chief guest Mr. Kolambakar appreciated students and their efforts.
Miss Aahana Talashikar expressed her views on science and and scientific aspects belalf of the students.

The winners of online competition held by Government Polytechnic Malvan, Mst. Om Masurkar and Mst. Devam Mayekar were honored too in this event.

The event was attended by all teachers, science teachers and non-teaching staff.
